Family first! After that, I’m a consultant and community builder. I create common ground between business developers and technology experts. My business is the modernization of the business of business through teamwork and technology. Common contributions include communication of concepts between business and technology teams, setting up delivery methods and resolving inconsistencies in plans, ideas and expectations.

Industry peers describe me as management oriented with a positive can-do attitude, an outgoing energetic personality and a person producing consistent and great results in global organizations with local, outsourced and distributed teams.

What I do is to create common ground between business developers and technology experts. Teams need working methods to guide value creation, help towards creative insights and clarity about what should and more specifically what should not be done right now. That often means my work is to clarify concepts, asking hard questions and help solve inconsistencies between business needs and technological constraints. Tools of the trade includes prototyping, workshop facilitation and visualization of interdependencies between things.

What helps me on the journey is a smile on my face, never-ending curiosity and both IT management and strong technical skills. The skills come from two decades of IT consultancy in both technical and project management roles. My business acumen comes from having worked in direct collaboration with business responsibles across a wide set of business departments since my first day of work in 1998, in the middle of the dot-com boom around the millenia shift.
